We started a week-long innovation workshop that was loosely based on Standofd’s D:school and Jake Knapp’s Sprint
I led this workshop a few dozen times and iterated and tweaked it until it was delivering very effective results.
Typically I would lead a team of 5-10 people through learning good methodology and process for human-centered design and design thinking. Taking a real client problem we would do ethnography, ideation, testing, prototyping, iteration and presentation in a very aggressive timeline.
I often got feedback from participants that they were still using the techniques and mindset years later at different companies in different roles.
